Collection of precompiled Public Domain Software
This site contains the links to several sets of executable binaries ready to be used on
Linux, Tru64, AIX and Solaris. All products were configured using the
"/caspur"
prefix. To install them, several methods can be used.
- If you have AFS: just make a symbolic link to the whole tree:
ln -s /afs/italia/project/casis/<arch>/ /caspur
and update your "PATH" environment variable by adding /caspur/bin and
/caspur/X11/bin
to use/try the collection from remote.
Or, to use the
collection from the local file system, mirror it onto your local disk. You
may use, for instance, the mirdir command that we supply. It is located here:
/afs/italia/project/casis/products/<arch>/File/mirdir/caspur/bin/mirdir
Example of the mirror operation:
mirdir -enone /afs/italia/project/casis/<arch>/ /caspur
- Select the needed products individually and download them one by one.
- Download the entire collection as an ISO9600 image (this option is not yet available
at the moment).
